The talk will center around what we do and how to tap into the growth of the IoT (Internet of Things).

Biography

Jack is responsible for the Verizon Innovation Program, a multi-faceted effort that encourages collaboration among its participants to drive development and deployment of non-traditional wireless devices and solutions. The Verizon Innovation Program consists of state-of-the-art labs in Boston and San Francisco that provide advanced technology necessary to design and develop the next generation of wireless products. Innovation Centers run by Verizon Wireless showcase the work that informs, inspires and promotes Verizon’s growing innovation ecosystem, giving partners, innovators and entrepreneurs’ visibility to executives, investors and the media. Jack has worked in the telecom and wireless industry for over 26 years. Prior to this role, Jack held leadership positions in network planning, engineering, system performance, operations, technology development and product development. Jack holds a BSEE and MSEE from the University of Washington. He is a licensed and registered Professional Engineer. Jack also holds two patents in wireless data architecture.
