I regret to inform you that we will be postponing the upcoming Puget Sound Alumni Mixer, scheduled for Thursday, March 12th. While we are always excited for an opportunity to visit with our alumni community, due to the continued spread of COVID-19 in the region, under guidance from University and public health officials regarding large gatherings, we feel this move is in the best interest of all.
We will be rescheduling this mixer at a later date and will be in touch with further details on the future event once they are confirmed.
In the meantime, be sure to stay up to date with our latest developments through our website, ece.uw.edu, and social media channels. As always, you’re welcome to send me an email at email@example.com with any exciting news you’d like to share, ways to connect or ideas for what would make future alumni events meaningful to you.
Stay healthy and happy, we look forward to seeing you soon.

Join us at ECE’s Puget Sound Alumni Mixer!
Dear ECE Alum,
The Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE) invites you to the sixth annual Puget Sound Alumni Mixer. As in the past, the event gives you an opportunity to network with each other and hear the latest from UW ECE. New this year, we are proud to present a panel of “The Next Generation of Innovators” featuring the department’s up-and-coming faculty. They will discuss what’s ahead in technology, covering topics from neuroengineering, quantum computing, and carbon-free energy systems.
Refreshments, light hors d’oeuvres and complimentary parking will be available. Following the mixer, we encourage you to meet our current graduate students next door in the Hub’s North Ballroom at ECE Research Day. Students will have their research posters on display, highlighting a variety of research themes including AI, robotics, medical devices, the smart grid, and wireless networks, to name a few.
