Bio:

Duncan Yu Lam is currently a Principal Design Engineer and Principal Investigator at Boeing Solid State Electronics Development. He is a highly dynamic ASIC design engineer with extensive experience in high performance design in different extreme environments, industry standard EDA tools, and methodologies. His expertise spans requirements engineering, execution, micro architecture and methodology development. Yu has been the lead for a number of programs at Boeing, namely Cryogenic digital design methodology development, radiation hardened mixed signal chip development, NASA high performance space computing digital frontend RTL design and integration, and numerous other IC design programs. He has lead chip development teams ranging from 5 to 35 members, focusing on cutting edge technology such as cyber security, cryogenics, near threshold computing, and radiation hardened extreme environment computing.
