Biography
Patricia D. Daniels received the B.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of California at Berkeley. She is Professor Emerita at Seattle University where she served as Professor and Chair of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Associate Dean of Science and Engineering. She is an Affiliate Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Washington and has worked for The Aerospace Corporation, Westinghouse Aerospace, and The Boeing Company. She also served as a Program Director in the Division of Undergraduate Education at the National Science Foundation.
Dr. Daniels is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of California. She chaired the Electrical and Computer Engineering Division of the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) and was a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Committee on Engineering Accreditation Activities. She has been an ABET program evaluator since 1988 and was on the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) from 1996-2005, serving as EAC Chair in 2003-2004. She was an ABET Adjunct Accreditation Director for Engineering from 2012-2014 and is a Fellow of IEEE and ABET.
