Evan Wang
Electrical Engineering undergraduate senior, Evan Wang, received the 2015-2016 Junior Medal for High Scholarship.
Each year, the University of Washington awards three High Scholarship medals to the highest-performing freshman, sophomore and junior at the UW. The award recognizes Wang’s outstanding academic achievements during his junior year.
In March, a special reception was held to honor the freshman, sophomore and junior recipients. UW President Ana Mari Cauce conferred the awards. Provost Gerald Baldasty, Dean Michael Bragg and numerous faculty mentors, family and friends attended the event.
Other recipients of the award were junior Siena Traverso and sophomore Hannah Werbel. Congratulations to all awardees!
