Grad students win conference best paper award

A paper by Samuel Kim and Ehsan Saeedi was named “best paper” at the January IEEE Nanoelectronics and Molecular Systems conference in Bangkok. Kim traveled to the conference and presented the paper – titled “Self-Assembled Heterogeneous Fluorescence Detection System” – to a group of scientists, researchers, and panel judges.

Babak Parviz is Saeedi’s advisor and Kim’s co-advisor (along with Affiliate Professor Deirdre Meldrum).
