Alumnus Rahul Vanam was selected as the winner of a best reviewer award for this year’s IEEE Visual Communications and Image Processing Conference. Only six people received this award out of over 200 reviewers. Vanam received his PhD from UW EE in 2010, and was advised by Professors Eve Riskin and Richard Ladner.
