Professional Master’s Program

Tuition & Fees

The Professional Master’s Program is a self-sustaining, fee-based program. Tuition is charged on a per-credit basis and is the same for Washington state resident students and non-resident students.

$1,064 USD per credit

Tuition rates may experience modest increases from year to year and are subject to change without notice.

Financial Aid

Students are eligible to apply for various forms of financial aid to help cover their educational costs. For additional information, please contact the Office of Financial Aid. The Graduate Funding Information Service also assists students in locating funding opportunities for tuition and program expenses.

If you are a veteran or current active duty member, you may be entitled to VA benefits to fund your education. Contact the Veterans Education Benefits Office to learn more.

Many companies provide support for graduate and professional education. Please check with your employer to learn about their tuition reimbursement policies.

Students in all fee-based programs are not eligible for state employee tuition exemption or university grants.

UW ECE offers guaranteed funding for Ph.D. students through TA and RA appointments, but the majority of our master’s students in both the daytime and professional programs are self-funded.
